Team
TreeGems team is a consortium of four organizations. The project leader and research coordinator is the University of Belgrade – Institute for Multidisciplinary Research which, in cooperation with two civil associations — the Educational and Creative Center "4E" from Kragujevac and the Ecological Research Society "Mladen Karaman" from Kragujevac — as well as the Institute for Nature Conservation of Serbia, is working on this complex, multidisciplinary challenge of documenting and studying sacred trees — zapisi, a distinctive botanical and socio-cultural phenomenon.
